What a Windy Day!!!

Today at Montessori, the children learned about wind, and the effect wind has on objects in our every day lives. The children read a story book about wind, and we created wind socks so that students were able to actually see wind move their wind socks in all directions. After the wind socks were complete, we had a "Wind Dance". Miss Jennifer turned on instrumental music, and when the music was fast and up beat, the children danced around the carpet in a quick, fun way. When the music slowed down, the children swayed with the beat of the music, and made their windsocks sway as well.

 They had such a wonderful time! It was a very windy day here at Montessori Interactive Preschool today!
