Today at Montessori the children helped celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday! We read some of Dr. Seuss's most memorable collections, such as "The Cat in the Hat", and "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". The children also were able to enjoy one of Dr. Seuss's most popular movies, "Horton Hears a Who".
The children had a lot of fun in the afternoon creating Cat in the Hat headbands of their very own. During this craft they were able to practise their fine motor skills of cutting, as well as pasting and colouring. It was a great day here at Montessori Interactive Preschool!
