Marvelous Monday!

We had a great day today! We changed around our classroom in preparation for Autumn and Halloween. We also discussed what it meant to be grateful and the significance of Thanksgiving. Our students wrote out what Thanksgiving meant to them and what they were each grateful for. It was so nice to see how wonderful and gracious our children are! They came up with many different reasons to be thankful and were very eager to share.

We worked together and built a tower using connecting straws. Our tower ended up being taller than Miss Andrea!
We changed around our practical life and art shelves to suit our theme. The students were immediately drawn to them and took turns using all of the different materials throughout the day.
We were happy to see some "signs of fall" bags returned today with awesome items inside!

One of our parents generously donated a fun toy for the toddler room. The children took turns racing balls down the track and seeing whose emerged first! They had so much fun racing the balls that we will be using recycled materials to create our own track this week.
