Our FUN summer!

We had so much fun learning through hands on activities!

During our "It's a Bug Life!" week we discussed habitats and decided to go on a bug hunt of our own! *No bugs were harmed in the hunt, as we discussed how to respectfully treat them and that it was important to let them go after we were finished observing them!

During our "Around the World" week, we discussed different cultures and practiced making their flags. We even learned words in new languages and tried new foods from all over the world!

During our "Time Travelers" week we took a trip to historic Fort Malden! We got to try old fashioned games. It was hard to imagine a time without televisions and video games, but we realized how much fun simple games like "cup in ball" could be!

We grew our own plants during our "Going Green" week, using only cotton balls, water, beans and plastic bags!

We LOVE coming to school every day! Our days are always filled with laughter and fun!

We practiced writing our names.

Our brand new listening center is a hit! We love to follow along and read the words while hearing them with animated voices!

We love using technology to learn about all sorts of things!

We grew mustard seeds in sponges! They grew really quickly but we noticed a very distinct odor!

We spent a lot of time enjoying nature.
